This table is beautiful! I also have never received an item so thoughtfully shipped. I was a bit worried when I received the table top as there was quite a bit of damage to the box on the outside from the third party company that delivered the package. Not even a scratch. The only issue that I foresee with this table is some damage (dents and scratches) from my children. The wood is relatively soft, but this is not a negative reflection on the builder and seller. I knew what kind of wood I was buying and will be happy to have this table well loved, some individuals may not though. I also received a little gift of placemats, which was a lovely touch.
