Solid Wood Live Edge Dining Tables

Celebrate the natural form of real wood with our collection of solid wood live edge dining tables. Designed to preserve the organic character of the timber, these tables highlight distinctive grain patterns, tonal variation, and naturally inspired edges that make every piece visually unique.

Our collection includes handcrafted tables made from solid walnut, chestnut, iroko, and selected solid wood species, with designs ranging from warm farmhouse tables to bold industrial slab tables and contemporary live edge epoxy pieces.

What Makes a Live Edge Dining Table Unique?

Unlike a conventional tabletop with perfectly straight edges, a live edge dining table preserves or recreates the natural flowing profile of the wood along the sides of the table.

This organic edge allows the grain, curves, tonal changes, and individual characteristics of the timber to remain an important part of the finished furniture. Denton, Heritage, Atlantis, and Marina all use the natural or live-edge character of their solid wood tops as a defining design feature.

Because natural solid wood varies from board to board, slight differences in grain, tone, edge profile, knots, and surface character are expected and help make each handcrafted table individual.

Natural Solid Wood: Walnut, Chestnut & Iroko

Different wood species give live edge furniture its own character.

Walnut live edge dining tables offer rich brown tones and expressive grain. Denton is handcrafted from 100% solid walnut, while Marina combines solid walnut with epoxy resin for a more contemporary interpretation of the live edge table.

Chestnut live edge tables introduce warmer natural tones and visible grain, while the Heritage design combines a solid chestnut tabletop with a contrasting metal base.

The Atlantis table uses solid African iroko wood, featuring a substantial slab-style top approximately 3.1"–3.9" thick and cast-iron legs for a stronger natural and industrial appearance.

Live Edge Tables for Rustic, Farmhouse, Industrial & Modern Interiors

Live edge furniture works especially naturally with Rustic, Farmhouse, Industrial, Modern Farmhouse, Organic Modern, Natural, and Contemporary interiors.

Denton combines solid walnut with farmhouse and rustic influences, while Heritage pairs chestnut with a geometric metal base for rustic-industrial character. Atlantis combines a thick iroko slab with painted cast iron for a stronger industrial and natural aesthetic. Marina introduces epoxy resin and black steel to create a more modern interpretation of live edge furniture.

Unlike broader dining-table collections, I would not force Mid-Century Modern, Japandi, Scandinavian, or Minimalist heavily into this page. Live Edge, Rustic, Farmhouse, Organic Modern, Industrial and Natural are much more closely aligned with the actual products currently shown.

Find the Right Live Edge Dining Table Size

Our live edge dining table collection includes multiple dimensions for both everyday dining and larger gathering spaces. Current collection filters span approximately 45" to 90" in width, with many models offering several depth options.

Denton is available across multiple dimensions up to approximately 80" W Ă— 40" D, with a standard 30" dining height. Heritage follows a similar structure, while Atlantis is offered in several larger slab sizes and stands approximately 29.5" high. Marina is currently offered at approximately 79" W Ă— 35" D Ă— 30" H.

Smaller live edge tables can work well for everyday family dining, while longer 70"–90" designs create a more substantial centerpiece for larger dining rooms and entertaining.

When choosing a table size, consider number of diners, chair width, tabletop depth, walking clearance, surrounding furniture, and the overall dimensions of your dining room.

Live Edge Slab Tables with Metal Bases

Wood-and-metal construction is one of the strongest design directions in this collection.

A substantial natural wood top paired with steel or cast-iron legs creates contrast between the irregular character of the timber and the cleaner geometry of the base. Atlantis uses painted cast iron, Marina uses black powder-coated steel, and Heritage combines its chestnut tabletop with a geometric metal structure.

Selected models also offer different leg configurations or custom leg options, allowing the base to move between farmhouse, industrial, modern, and rustic styling while keeping the natural wood tabletop as the focal point. Denton currently offers twelve leg styles, and Atlantis notes alternative leg options upon request.

Live Edge Epoxy Dining Tables

For customers looking for a more contemporary statement piece, the collection also includes live edge epoxy dining tables.

The Marina design combines solid walnut with an epoxy river detail, preserving the natural shape and grain of the wood while introducing a contrasting resin element. It is handmade, made to order, and supports customization of the epoxy design and color.

Because Epoxy Dining Tables already has its own dedicated collection, I would mention epoxy here as a secondary live-edge variation rather than allowing this page to compete heavily for the main epoxy dining table keyword.

Handcrafted & Made to Highlight Natural Character

Live edge furniture benefits particularly from handcrafted production because the wood itself determines part of the finished appearance.

Several products in the current collection are explicitly handcrafted or handmade to order. Denton is handmade from solid walnut, Atlantis is handcrafted from iroko, Heritage describes a handcrafted production process, and Marina is handmade in the workshop from solid walnut and epoxy.

This means natural grain and edge variations are not treated as defects but as part of the individuality of the material.

Durable for Everyday Dining

Although live edge tables often function as statement furniture, they are also designed for practical dining use.

Denton uses a protective water-resistant matte finish, Atlantis uses a protective oil-based finish, Heritage uses a matte protective finish, and Marina combines treated solid walnut with a scratch-resistant epoxy surface.

Solid wood construction, substantial tabletops, and sturdy bases help make these tables suitable for everyday meals, family gatherings, entertaining, and other regular dining-room use.

Custom Sizes & Design Options

This is actually one collection where customization can legitimately be mentioned more strongly than on many of your other category pages.

Denton supports custom dimensions and multiple leg styles; Heritage offers custom size, finish, and leg-style requests; Atlantis supports custom sizing and alternative legs; and Marina allows customization of the epoxy design.

I would still phrase it as:

“Selected live edge dining tables can be customized in size, leg style, finish, or design. Available options vary by model.”

That is safer than saying every possible feature of every table is fully customizable.

Easy Assembly & Secure Delivery

Applicable live edge dining tables are designed for easy assembly, with tabletops and bases transported separately for safer shipping.

Denton, Marina, Atlantis, and Heritage all state that assembly is required and that instructions and necessary components are provided for straightforward installation after delivery.

This is worth mentioning because these are substantial pieces of solid wood furniture and easy assembly is a useful commercial benefit.

Free Shipping to the USA, Canada & Europe

Current product pages display free shipping to the USA, Canada, and Europe on the live edge collection. Denton and Heritage explicitly list these regions, while other collection products also display complimentary shipping.
