Solid wood furniture is made from a single piece or solid planks of wood, rather than
composite materials or engineered woods like MDF or plywood. This makes it more
durable and long-lasting.

Solid wood is generally more durable and long-lasting compared to engineered wood or MDF, which are often made from wood fibers or particles bonded together. Solid
wood also has a unique grain pattern and character, giving each piece its own
distinct look.

• Walnut: Known for its rich, dark color and smooth texture. It is highly durable and adds an elegant touch to any space.
• Beech: A light-colored wood that’s smooth and even-textured. It’s durable, flexible, and perfect for both modern and classic designs.
• Pine: A soft, light wood with distinct knots. It has a natural, rustic feel and is ideal for more casual or rustic interior styles.
• Oak: Known for its strength and durability, oak has a distinct grain and is often used for furniture requiring extra sturdiness.

Oak is generally the most durable among these options, making it ideal for long-lasting furniture. Walnut is also highly durable but is known more for its aesthetic appeal.

Pine and beech wood are the most versatile in terms of color options. These woods can be stained or painted in a variety of colors, while walnut and oak are more limited in natural color variations.

Oak is one of the most popular woods for furniture because of its durability and
timeless appeal. Walnut also enjoys popularity for its luxurious look.
